Bruce Ferri has been designing for television for more than 25 years. His work has been seen on ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX as well as many of the cable networks. In 2015 Ferri won a Sports Emmy Award as part of the production design team for ESPN Sports Center and in 2010 he won two Sports Emmys as part of the production design team for MLB Tonight on the MLB Network. For three consecutive years, Ferri received multiple Emmy nominations for his design work on ABC’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

As well as lighting individual TV programs, Bruce is a leading designer of full studios. One of his signature studio designs was his lighting for NBC Sports Networks high-definition studios in Stamford, CT. His most challenging project was lighting ESPN’s NASCAR Pit Studio, a set inside an expanding tractor-trailer that is lit entirely with LEDs, talent included. Ferri designed the state of the art HD studio for the Weather Channel and the MLB Network studios presenting 24-hour coverage of Major League Baseball in HD. In 2011, Ferri and his team provided a major redesign of the lighting for all of the CNBC studios at its Englewood Cliffs, NJ headquarters. In 2012, Ferri and his FLDA team designed CNBC’s NYSE Post 9, the first remote location studio on the New York Stock Exchange floor. One of his most memorable jobs was lighting live wraparounds in Kuwait right after Desert Storm for the History Channel. Ferri has lit the last Pope, the previous President, and all of The Iron Chefs.

Jon Famularo joined the FLDA team June of 2019 after freelancing in television. He received a B.F.A. in Design and Theatre Technology from SUNY Purchase. He is the Senior Lighting Director for daily operations at CNBC Global Headquarters where he works on “Halftime Report”, “The Exchange”, “Power Lunch”, “Mad Money”, and “The News With Sheppard Smith”. He has also assisted on projects such as CNBC’s New York Stock Exchange “Data Center”, CNBC Global Headquarters’ Studio A LED Upgrade, “Court TV” and the 2019 US Open. Before joining FLDA Jon worked on shows like “Page Six TV”, “90 Day Fiancé” and “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen”. He also worked on various events like “Frieze Art Fair” and “NRF Retails Big Show” at the Javits Center. Jon is excited to continue to contribute to the numerous FLDA projects that will utilize his design, drafting and programming background.

Keri Tanner comes to FLDA with 5 years of experience in the industry. Her background experience includes theatrical, dance, and concert, and tv lighting. She graduated from Purchase College in the spring of 2021 where she finished with a BFA in Design Technology with a focus in lighting design. A few of her credits include Jesus Christ Superstar with Faithful Productions, Little Women with Immaculate Heart Academy, and PDC 2021 with the Purchase College Dance Conservatory.

Leigh comes to FLDA with over 25 years experience in the lighting industry.
She has a background that includes theatrical lighting,touring and production, rental shop management as well as project management. Leigh has worked on many past projects with the FLDA team members some of which include ESPN Sports Center, Who wants to be a Millionaire,Iron Chef America, The US Open and the History channel to name a just a few.

Shannon Curran, who graduated from the University of Southern California with bachelors in Creative Arts Marketing & Management, started her career as a Production Manager. In 1997 she joined Madison Square Garden, Inc. where she worked producing shows and events in New York City, the nation’s #1 market at the world famous Madison Square Garden. As Director of Production at MSG, Curran was responsible for the budgeting, planning, production, staffing and financial reconciliation of over 300+ events per year in three distinct venues (Arena, Theater, and Exposition Center) including a who’s who of rock concerts, a lengthy list of television specials and award shows, industrials, special event functions including the Westminster Dog Show and tradeshows as well as major events including National Political Conventions and the Dalai Lama’s visit to New York. She also works with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade production staff and on the JVC Jazz Festival.
